Balloon Twisting

Balloon twisting is one of our specialities! Our priority is to make sure that every child gets a balloon, so the complexity of the balloon twisting is based on the number of children you have at your party. If you are expecting a large number of children at your party, but would like the more complex balloons, you can always hire us for more time.

When taking the proper precautions, balloon twisting can be both fun and entertaining. Due to the choking hazard presented by all latex balloons, we will not give balloons to infants, children under the age of three or children we feel may be placed in danger. If the child’s parent is present, we can give the balloon to the parent of the child for them to keep. We use Qualatex brand balloons and this is what their label reads about balloon safety:

“Not suitable for children under 36 months due to potential small parts which may pose a choking hazard. Children under 8 years of age can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons. Adult supervision required. Keep uninflated balloons from children. Discard broken balloons at once.”

In our 15 years of performing, we have never had an issue with the safety of our balloons. We love children and love seeing the expression joy on their faces when they receive a balloon. We share this information, not to cause undue fear, but to help educate those who may not be aware of balloon safety.
